BBC Starts Bandicoot's Test Drive
BBC Scotland has ordered two seasons of a new quizshow format from Argonon-backed UK producer Bandicoot.
The two 8×30′ seasons of Test Drive will follow three teams who must correctly answer questions from a satellite navigation system or be taken on a longer route to their final destination. The team to travel the least mileage wins.
The show, fronted by Scottish wrester and actor Graeme Stevely (aka Grado), is being executive produced by Derek McLean and Daniel Nettleton and is due to air in 2019.
Jo Street, commissioning editor at the BBC said show “has energy, innovation and humour at its heart” and described it as “a fresh way of doing a quiz.”
